Finally, An Impermanent Human Intervention (NYC)

Painting a rock with river water changes the color of the rock to a darker shade while the rock is wet. Ultimately, this ephemeral exercise is futile as the sun warms the rock and causes the water to evaporate turning the rock back to its original color.
