“If You Say Something, See Something” is a series of photographs that poke words and phrases with the proverbial stick and explore the iconographic vernacular associated with them. This project originally began as a challenge to make something every day during the calendar year of 2014. Herzog began working in photography for the first time experimenting with bringing the interactivity he had begun exploring in digital web-based work to the preconceived static medium of photography. The series represents a curated assortment of those daily projects.
