An ephemeral work, a fallen tree covered with green seaweed gathered in low tide on the coast of Maine. Photographed over a week as the color faded from the seaweed - in the beginning, blending into the greenery of the background then eventually, as the seaweed lost its color, blending in with the fallen tree.
