School designed a generative identity system and website for “nkwiluntàmën: I long for it; I am lonesome for it (such as the sound of a drum)” an immersive sound installation walk through the riverfront grounds of Pennsbury Manor by artist Nathan Young. The installation guides listeners across the historic site, experiencing a blend of music, voices, and environmental recordings. The original composition amplifies Indigenous agency, honoring and reimagining environmental song-making traditions that have endured through his tribe’s diaspora across North America.
Benches created by Nathan Young for the installation at Pennsbury Manor.
